Wheatland / Yuba County / Beale AFB / Placer County areas Enrichment

Spring Session 2017 - Beginning Thursday, February 2nd thru Thursday, May 18th.
NO ENRICHMENT- FEBRUARY 23RD FOR FEBRUARY BREAK AND APRIL 13TH FOR SPRING BREAK
Students should bring a lunch and a water bottle on Enrichment days.
Classes are held at the Wheatland Baptist Church 712 Olive St., Wheatland
Student Drop off time is 9:45 a.m. Pick up time is 3:00-Please sign student(s) in/out each day

Younger Grades
K-2
Music with Ms. Shauna - Ms. Shauna is bringing back the ukuleles with students learning the instrument basics, techniques and hopefully a song or two.

Games and stories will be incorporated with musical lessons.
Spanish with Ms. Claudia- Spanish-Claudia Ingalls is a native Spanish speaker with years of Spanish Language teaching experience. She comes to us with a wealth of experience and is excited to work with students of all ages! Students can expect to learn Spanish vocabulary, basics of a conversation, games, songs, and will be provided with a workbook and materials.
LunchKuk Sool Won with Mr. Rick Cairns- Kuk Sool Won- Rick Cairnes returns to teach Kuk Sool Won --a traditional Korean martial art where students will learn conditioning, forms, discipline and games. Rick also teaches at his Wheatland Kuk Sool Won school.
Junior Achievement with Ms. Eileen- Junior Achievement- Eileen Duryea will be teaching Junior Achievement, a nationally accredited business & economic educational program for students K-12. Lessons may include families, local economies, our nation and our region for younger students to entrepreneurship , global economies, and career success for older students. Eileen's experience includes teaching swimming, nutrition and physical education and most recently teaching Junior Achievement at an elementary school in Penn Valley.
Middle Grades
3rd-4th
