On-Site Enrichment Classes
Learning Center sites in Nevada City, Truckee and Wheatland offer weekly Enrichment Classes. Most sites schedule blocks of one to two class days each week. Classes typically include project-based experiences, hands on math and science, movement, and the arts. Classes are optional and are provided to enhance and enrich the students' educational program. The school is responsive to parent and student suggestions for the types of classes offered.
Community Classes Available through the “Independent Contractor” or “Vendor” List
The school provides parents with a comprehensive list of independent contractors in their community including: art, performing arts, equestrian experiences, music, movement, science, theater, tutoring and general enrichment groups. Families may use Student Budget funds to pay these contractors and may request new ones be added to the list.
