An exciting element of the Twin Ridges Home Study Program are the local Learning Centers. These centers were established in 1999 and are located in Nevada City, Truckee, and on Beale AFB. Students are offered the opportunity to take optional enrichment classes, check out learning materials, and spend the day with their friends in fun activities.

Our Resource Center at the Charter School Office in Nevada City houses an extensive library of books, manipulatives, games, videos and CDs, science projects, and many other items for family check out.

Many families come to the Center once a month to return materials and replenish from the hundreds of items on the shelves. Charter Teachers are available to assist student families in finding appropriate materials for their course of study.
