OUR MISSION—
The Twin Ridges Home Study program facilitates responsibility, compassion and self-discipline so that students can reach their fullest potential in academics, personal awareness, athletics and the arts. The school, in partnership with the parents, creates a climate in which students can become scholars, critical thinkers, effective problem solvers and lifelong learners. This program promotes a safe, nurturing and flexible school environment where students will exercise cooperation, tolerance and respect for the diversity of others. TRHS provides program excellence to students in the extensive availability of resources, experienced teachers, parent involvement, and a responsive administrative team. The Twin Ridge Home Study program model includes the following:
To give parents and their children the opportunity to choose goals that are in alignment with their educational philosophy.
To assist and nurture parents who want increased commitment and involvement in their child's education.
To provide a collaborative relationship between parents and staff in designing successful programs, strategies, and practices.
To encourage an environment where parents and staff work together to assess the program by identifying strengths and areas that need improvement.
To assure that students exiting this program in eighth grade will perform at or above grade level as a group.
