Twin Ridges Home Study has been providing families with a unique blend of home schooling and site-based programs since 1978. For the last 30-plus years, the school, staff, and families have developed a strong, knowledgeable team, with a commitment to personalizing learning for each student. Families can expect a warm, resourceful staff and a flexible, individualized educational program
A respect for home-based learning is complemented with site-based group learning opportunities in enrichment classes one to two days a week. Field trips are frequent and family oriented, and seasonal events are provided to foster community and networking for students and parents.
Twin Ridges has a large lending library with hands on and curriculum materials to support a wide range of educational philosophies. Students are provided with the opportunity to follow their passions as well as educational needs through an Educational Budget of approximately $100 per month. Teachers provide expert assistance to help create a successful and positive experience for students and families. Twin Ridges Home Study welcomes students in Kindergarten through Eighth Grade, from Nevada, Placer, Yuba, and Sierra Counties.
