Personalized Learning
A respect for home-based learning is complemented with site-based group learning opportunities in enrichment classes one to two days a week. Field trips are frequent and family oriented, and seasonal events are provided to foster community and networking for students and parents.
Opportunity
Students are provided with the opportunity to follow their passions through our large lending library and hands-on curriculum materials. Teachers help create a successful and positive experience for students and families. Twin Ridges Home Study welcomes students in Kindergarten through Eighth Grade, from Nevada, Placer, Yuba, and Sierra Counties.
Mission
The Twin Ridges Home Study program facilitates responsibility, compassion, and self-discipline so that students can reach their fullest potential in academics, personal awareness, athletics, and the arts. The school, in partnership with the parents, creates a climate in which students can become scholars, critical thinkers, effective problem solvers, and lifelong learners.
